GEMC EIC RICH STANDALONE SIMULATION README
Step 1:
source your set_eic environment
$ source /your/path/set_eic
Step 2:
The commands to build the geometry, banks, hit defs
mirrors and materials are:
upload_parameters.pl config.dat < only for MYSQL factory
$ ./geometry.pl config.dat
$ ./bank.pl config.dat
$ ./hit.pl config.dat
$ ./materials.pl config.dat
$ ./mirrors.pl config.dat
Step 3:
$ eic_gemc meic_det1.gcard (run simulation)
Step 4:
Check your text output if you choose "txt" format in *.gcard
$ more output.txt (view text output)
Convert "evio" to "root" if you choose "evio" format in *.gcard
$ evio2root -INPUTF=output.evio -B=meic_det1
Step 5:
Analysis your root format output
$ root output.root

pid: launch particle species ID
px, py, pz: launch particle momentum
vx, vy, vz: launch particle position
variables in built-in hit type: "flux"
hitn: hit number
pid: secondary particle ID, cherenkov raditaion photon 0; e- 11

(avg_x, avg_y, avg_z): ring hit position at the photon detector
(avg_lx, avg_ly, avg_lz): ring hit position at the (0,0,0) plane
(px, py, pz): ring track momentum
(vx, vy, vz): hits in aerogel radiator
(mvx, mvy, mvz): hits at (0,0,0)
