Can we access your project?

• I give permission for members of the FlutterFlow team to access and test my project for the sole purpose of investigating this issue.

Current Behavior

Desktop App v6.4 on macOS Tahoe 26.3.1 (25D2128) is forcing all projects to open in the external browser. I tested it on two M5 MacBook Pros. Clean reinstall and cache wipe did not fix the issue.

Expected Behavior

The projects should open in the desktop app, but they are opening in the default browser.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open Desktop App v6.4 on macOS Tahoe 26.3.1 (25D2128) (Macbook Pro M5)
2. Click on project
3. Projects opens in the external browser

The older version, like 6.4, is designed to work with a project pinned to that specific version. So if you didn’t pin the project while the option was available, you can’t do that anymore. More here: https://docs.flutterflow.io/resources/projects/settings/flutterflow-version-management/

For now, however, the pinning feature is not stable and has a lot of bugs that can lock you out of the project in certain situations (see other issue tickets for reference).
