Speed

On the kimble-extraction branch... It works, but when dealing with large, complex sets of items it is significantly slower than, say, AutoMapper. I've been trying a bunch of different things, but can't figure out what's going wrong. @StillLearnin Any ideas?

Have you tried profiling it to see exactly where the slow and hot spots are?

Haven't actually run a profiler, I've used a Stopwatch and commented out code. Seems to simply be a result of looping through so many items. Though I'm unsure how AutoMapper manages to do this so much faster... As far as I can tell they are not doing any parallelization... I will dig into their code more, just thought maybe something jumped out at you.

These results are likely skewed because of the relatively small number of items that are mapped many, many times (if I understood the code correctly) but I do wonder what would happen if you dropped the caching and simply mapped them all.
