What package is missing from Amazon Linux 2023? Please describe and include package name.

Is this an update to existing package or new package request?
Update, but should be installable in parallel with supported NodeJS versions 22 and 24 as well

Is this package available in Amazon Linux 2? If it is available via external sources such as EPEL, please specify.

Any additional information you'd like to include. (use-cases, etc)

Would be necessary for providing nodejs 26 support to Codebuild, Lambda, and ElasticBeanstalk teams

It is not an update, it will be a new, namespaced, package. Following the existing pattern, nodejs26

However, it is too early for this request.
It was released yesterday, and is "Current": 2026-05-05, Version 26.0.0 (Current)

Amazon Linux doesn't ship "current" versions. We'll add it, similarly to Node.js 24, when it turns "Active":
