blank volume snapshots list

problem

After deleting a VM I noticed that there was still a volume snapshot of the deleted VM so I tried to delete the volume snapshot too but it failed.
Now when I click on "Volume Snapshots" the following error is displayed:

Cannot invoke "com.cloud.storage.VolumeVO.getRemoved()" because "volumeVO" is null

and no snapshots are displayed in the list.

versions

CloudStack 4.22.1.0 on Rocky Linux 10.
Ceph storage.

The steps to reproduce the bug

1. I think the error was triggered forcing the deletion of a VM which had a volume snapshot
2. delete the volume snapshot of the deleted VM

...

What to do about it?

Not hitting the issue with nfs storage

Had the same issue with one volume on ceph but I'm not able to reproduce it again

My work-a-round was to update the database manually and remove the volume from ceph.

update volumes v set state = 'Destroy' where v.name='ROOT-5324';
update volumes v set removed = '2026-06-04 07:30:00' where v.name='ROOT-5324';

My issue is slightly different: the volume doesn't exist any more in the table "volumes" but there is a snapshot (ed8ac22c-76f0-45f7-9eb1-e88db1abef47) of that volume in the table "snapshots".
The status of the snapshot was "BackedUp" and I changed it in the database to "Destroyed". Now the snapshot list is displayed again in the GUI without errors.
