FYI, I just hit GEOMETRYCOLLECTION of POLYGON trying to use anglr to plot decido meshes ... I have just written a GC unpacking in silicate so that it shortcuts straight to mesh when all POLYGON have 4 vertices in the right way.

silicate will get refactored to use sfheaders some time soon - so it's good to see you have the geometrycollection_id in sight.
