Add resources for basic tooling

This should include an overview of the ways of interacting with Python:

• Scripts (written with a text editor or IDE)
• IPython notebook
• (I)Python terminal prompt (includes clarification about shell vs. python prompt)

Also provide links to programming fundamentals, git fundamentals (includes recs for git clients).
