Description
Using loops.video on desktop, scrolling the feed with the mouse wheel is an overall bad experience. This is not a new bug, as I have been experiencing this since the webUI launched.
Currently I can scroll down four videos on the "Local" feed until the scroll wheel can't go any further. While I can go back to the previous loop by scrolling up, no amount of scrolling down will get me the the next one. When this bug happens, pressing the arrow down key kind of refreshes the current loop (A spinning wheel can be seen for a very brief time and the currently displayed loop disappears and reappears again in a split second) and the mouse wheel works again, only to fail again later down the feed.
When browsing For You, I can currently scroll a few more videos, about a dozen, before the same thing happens. In both Local and For You feeds, the wheel consistently stops working on the same video every time, making me think that some specific videos may causing this somehow (just a guess).
On a related note, I've also noticed that the scrolling feels a bit weird because it doesn't require the same amount a wheel "ticks" to scroll every time. Sometimes it scrolls down with just one tick, sometimes it requires two. Using Brave it's even more annoying to use, as it requires either 2 or 3 ticks to register a scroll.
Tested on Debian 13.4 using Firefox 140.9.0esr and Brave v1.88.138 (based on chromium 146.0.7680.178).
Steps to reproduce
1/ Go to loops.video using Firefox
2/ Scroll down the feed using the mouse wheel
3/ Get stuck eventually.
Loops version
loops.video (can't find version info on the webUI)
Acknowledgements
Yes
