Friendly ping to see if this project is still active, as it's been 7 years since the last official release:

There were a couple of commits back in 2021 to main, but nothing from then, so looks like it's no longer active?

In the sense that it isn't abandoned, yes it is "active" . Because the underlying interfaces are very stable and well established it doesn't really require continuous changes.

If there were a compelling security bug or someone were to send a PR I'd probably make a new release.
