Yes, I have used it before for defect detection like tasks.

You can refer to the defect detection pipeline in CodeXglue (https://github.com/microsoft/CodeXGLUE/tree/main/Code-Code/Defect-detection). Here CodeBERT is used as an encoder and mostly just the encoder needs to be replaced with UnixCoder and rest of the setup you can follow.
