Policy Duration

I'm pretty new to licensing. I validate my license with a fingerprint it works fine, but in the response I get the licence expiry date back, witch is set for 2 weeks. But my license policy is only set for 1 day. How can I get the licence policy exp date so I can set up my app to lock based on that? Or is there an another way to lock the license if it's policy set for 1 day?

Can you share more information? Was the policy always 1 day, or did you change it from 2 weeks to 1 day? Changes to a policy's duration do not retroactively apply to existing licenses (those will need to be adjusted on a per-license basis), but new licenses will use the new duration. Let me know if you can share further info, such as a request ID of getting the license back with an unexpected expiry.

Hi Mate, thanks for getting back to me. It was more like a generic question. What I don't understand is, if I have a license policy set for 24 hours, after registering the license with a fingerprint, will it expire? So is it enough to periodically check the license if it is still valid from client end or do I need to get the policy expiration date from the server, save it in my app and tell the app to expire at that time?

The license has an expiry attribute — automatically set during license creation according to the policy's duration — which is checked during license validation. If a validation comes back as EXPIRED, then your application can handle that accordingly.
