Delayed rewards for Linux Nodes compared to Windows/macOS #532

I am writing to bring attention to a persistent issue regarding the Node rewards for the Linux community. Many Pioneers have transitioned from Windows to Linux seeking better stability and performance.

Despite running high-end hardware (e.g., Ryzen 7, 64GB DDR5, NVMe SSDs) and maintaining 24/7 uptime on Linux distributions (like Ubuntu 24.04), we have noticed that rewards are either non-existent or significantly delayed compared to other operating systems.

Key Points:

Stability: Linux nodes offer superior uptime and resource management.

Current Status: My node has been running 24/7 on Linux since October 2025 without receiving any rewards.

Request: We ask the Pi Core Team to provide an update or a fix for the reward calculation algorithm for Linux Docker environments.

The Linux community is a vital part of this project's decentralization. We remain committed to the goal, but the lack of rewards for a more stable environment is frustrating for many dedicated operators.

Environment:

OS: Linux (various distributions)

Hardware: High-end Desktop specs

Uptime: 24/7
