Vue3-WebDev-Kit

This repository contains the materials for a Teaching Open Source (TOS) Kit for learning the basics of Web Development Using Vue.js v3. TOS Kits are designed to facilitate learning in an authentic environment that simulates an open source project and community.

While completing the Vue3-WebDev-Kit your work will be similar to working in an open source community. In particular, you will:

  • begin by forking an existing repository.
  • work in a GitHub Codespace that provides a cloud based Visual Studio Code (VSCode) Integrated Development Environment (IDE).
  • interact with an Issue Tracker to complete the assignments that make up the Kit.
  • gain exposure to tooling that is common in open source projects (e.g. code formatters and linters, Git hooks, GitHub CI/CD actions).
  • create pull requests to submit your completed work.
  • interact with GitHub actions and Copilot agents that simulate some elements of an open source community (e.g. labeling and reviewing pull requests).

Getting Started

This is a work in progress. Full instructions for using this kit will be created and published here when it is ready for use.
