Goal

Closes AND-1618 — publish Video to stream-io-repo.com only.

Implementation

  • pluginManagement adds https://stream-io-repo.com, declared last. Conventions 1.0.0 exists only there.
  • streamConventions 0.14.1 → 1.0.0; all reusable workflow pins → v1.0.0 (161dace).
  • publish-new-version.yml: suffix and publish-targets inputs (default streamRepo), passes the four STREAM_REPO_* secrets (already set on this repo), and a release-notes-header job prepends the Stream repository card to the release.
  • publish-snapshot.yml: publish-targets: streamRepo and the same secrets.

🎨 UI Changes

None.

Testing

  • ./gradlew help --refresh-dependencies: all six conventions 1.0.0 plugin markers resolved against stream-io-repo.com. BUILD SUCCESSFUL.
  • actionlint passes on all workflows.
  • Same setup as Feeds 0.11.1, which published to and resolved from stream-io-repo.com.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features
    • Release publishing can now target the Stream repository, Maven Central, or both. Releases published to the Stream repository include Gradle setup guidance in their release notes.
  • Chores
    • Updated release publishing and project maintenance workflows to use newer build conventions.

Resolve the conventions plugin from stream-io-repo.com, bump it and the
reusable workflow pins to 1.0.0, add suffix and publish-targets dispatch
inputs, pass the four STREAM_REPO_* secrets, and prepend the Stream
repository card to release notes.

Walkthrough

The pull request updates Gradle conventions and reusable workflow references. It adds Stream Maven repository settings to publishing workflows and adds a job that prepends repository instructions to qualifying release notes.

Changes

Build and release workflows

Layer / File(s) Summary
Gradle conventions and repository setup
gradle/libs.versions.toml, settings.gradle.kts
The Stream conventions version changes to 1.0.1. The Stream Maven repository is added to plugin management and dependency resolution.
Reusable CI workflow updates
.github/workflows/android.yml, .github/workflows/pr-clean-old-drafts.yaml, .github/workflows/pr-quality.yml, .github/workflows/sdk-size-checks.yml, .github/workflows/sdk-size-updates.yml
The Android CI, pull request, and SDK size workflows reference updated reusable workflow revisions.
Release publishing inputs and credentials
.github/workflows/publish-new-version.yml, .github/workflows/publish-snapshot.yml
The release workflows pass Stream repository settings. Version publishing adds suffix and publish-targets inputs. Snapshot publishing sets its target to streamRepo.
Stream release-note update
.github/workflows/publish-new-version.yml
When publish-targets is exactly streamRepo, a job finds a qualifying release and prepends Stream Maven repository instructions to its notes. The job fails if it finds no matching release.

Comment @coderabbitai help to get the list of available commands.

Declared last in dependencyResolutionManagement, so new io.getstream
versions published only there (WebRTC, core) resolve; everything already
on Central keeps resolving from Central.
