we fixed it in the update cost structure, and we refer to the exact table and assumptions used

it is for crushing rocks to the target particle size. this is the main connection with the energy system beside the CO2 removal.

removed. the new cost structure only uses VOM, as in the original paper

Hej

we updated the cost structure for ERW in the technology-data, moving from investment + VOM to VOM only. This is more in line whittle source as well. the VOM includes all the costs for the mine, producing basalt (so cost per tonne of basalt), crushing machinery, transport of basalt to the fields and spreading of the basal on the fields. From the original cost calculation it was removed the part for the cost of electricity (needed in the crushing process), and it is introduced the electricity demand parameter for modelling in pypsa-eur
