Description

Plymouth splash and the text boot console (after pressing Escape) are vertically flipped.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Start Fedora 45 Beta
  2. Show Plymouth Boot Splash

Current Behavior

With 3D acceleration enabled, both the Plymouth splash and the text boot console (after pressing Escape) are vertically flipped. With 3D acceleration disabled, both display correctly. This suggests a Y-orientation issue in the accelerated backend’s handling of the boot-time framebuffer/2D scanout.

Expected Behavior

Environment

  • App version: e.g VMPal 0.66
  • 16" MacBook Pro, M4 Pro, 24 GB
  • macOS Golden Gate 27.0.1
  • VM's OS: Fedora 45 Beta (Gnome Desktop)
