Summary

• Stop tracking .playwright-mcp/ (git rm --cached; the files stay on disk) and add .playwright-mcp/ and /*.png to .gitignore, so local screenshots no longer appear in git status.
• Decision on .claude/settings.json: keep it tracked. It only enables two shared plugins (qodo-skills, pagerduty) and contains no secrets.
• render.yaml and glama.json are untouched.
• ACTION_README.md is not moved. This keeps the PR focused; the move can follow separately.

Test Plan

• task check passes locally (fmt, vet, lint, race tests).
• git check-ignore confirms .playwright-mcp/x.png and a root foo.png are ignored.
• git ls-files shows no .playwright-mcp/ entries after the change.

PR Review: chore(repo): clean repo root

Verdict: LGTM.

• .gitignore adds .playwright-mcp/ and /*.png. The / anchors the png rule to the repo root, so PNGs under website/, docs/ and similar directories are unaffected.
• No root-level tracked .png files exist, so /*.png won't hide anything already committed. The earlier gosqlx.png and gosqlx_text.png entries were already ignored.
• After this change git ls-files shows 0 .playwright-mcp/ entries.
• The six deleted PNGs are removed from the index only, so there's no runtime, security or test impact. There's no code to cover with tests.

Nits (non-blocking)

• The new block sits next to an existing comment block about local UI audit screenshots. Merging the two would be a little tidier, but it isn't necessary.
• The old screenshots remain in git history. If repo size matters, a history rewrite would be a separate decision, and it's probably not worth it for six images.
• Keeping .claude/settings.json tracked is reasonable, since it contains no secrets.
