| > 💡 **`/ask` vs regular chat**: Normally every message you send becomes part of the ongoing conversation and affects future responses. `/ask` is an "off the record" shortcut. It's perfect for quick one-off questions like `/ask What does YAML mean?` without polluting your session context. | ||

| > 💡 **`/ask` keyboard shortcuts**: While an `/ask` answer is showing, press **Ctrl+E** to expand the full answer or **Ctrl+Y** to copy the entire answer to your clipboard. Later, type `/ask` (or `/btw`) with no arguments to reopen the last completed answer. These shortcuts let you review and reuse answers without losing your place in the conversation. (Ctrl+E does different things in other places, such as opening the environment picker before your first prompt.) |
