Summary

The "Ask DeepWiki" badge renders as a broken image on GitHub. https://deepwiki.com/badge.svg now sits behind a Vercel bot challenge that answers non-browser clients with HTTP 429 and an HTML page instead of the SVG. GitHub's image proxy (camo) is one of those clients, so it can't load the badge. Opening the URL directly in a browser still works, which is why it only breaks on github.com.

This swaps the image for a static shields.io badge, written the same way as the other badges in the header. The link still points to https://deepwiki.com/middleapi/standard-server.

- ``<img src="https://deepwiki.com/badge.svg" alt="Ask DeepWiki">``
+ ````<img alt="Ask DeepWiki" src="https://img.shields.io/badge/Ask-DeepWiki-blue" />````
  • 7 package READMEs. The root README.md is a symlink to packages/core/README.md, so it picks up the fix and stays a symlink.
  • Many other projects made the same swap for the same reason. If DeepWiki stops challenging badge.svg, this can be reverted.

The same fix is going into middleapi/orpc, middleapi/openapi-spec and middleapi/uncheck.

Test plan

  • The same line passes eslint in middleapi/orpc. Lint wasn't run here because this repo's dependencies weren't installed.
  • The badge renders in this PR's rendered README. I couldn't check this from my environment, which can't reach shields.io or camo.

Generated by Claude Code

deepwiki.com/badge.svg now answers non-browser clients with a 429 bot
challenge, so GitHub's image proxy (camo) can't load it and the README
badge renders as a broken image. Swap the image for a static shields.io
badge and keep the link to the DeepWiki page.

Footnotes

  1. 108 benchmarks were skipped, so the baseline results were used instead. If they were deleted from the codebase, click here and archive them to remove them from the performance reports. ↩

  2. No successful run was found on main (5dbe646) during the generation of this report, so 177f457 was used instead as the comparison base. There might be some changes unrelated to this pull request in this report. ↩

Reviewed changes

Docs-only badge swap across the whole package set.

  • DeepWiki badge source — replaces https://deepwiki.com/badge.svg with the static shields.io badge https://img.shields.io/badge/Ask-DeepWiki-blue in all 7 package READMEs, keeping the <a href="https://deepwiki.com/middleapi/standard-server"> link intact.

Verified beyond the diff: a repo-wide grep finds zero remaining deepwiki.com/badge.svg references and exactly 7 new shields.io badges, the README.md root symlink to packages/core/README.md is preserved, and pnpm run check passes end to end (sherif, oxlint, oxfmt --check, tsc), so the changed lines are correctly formatted even though lint wasn't run locally. No behavioral surface.
