I'm a computer science undergraduate at UBC.
I love working with data. Taking dirty data and extracting insights from it through analysis, visualizations, and machine learning is incredibly satisfying.
I usually use Python for my work, but I also have a working knowledge of R, Java, and SQL.
My GitHub profile is still very much a work in progress! However, here are some repositories you can check out:
- I wrote some brief documentation for a recent project here: NHL Playoff Predictor.
- I found data and developed a model that predicts disease outbreak areas here (my work is in the ml folder): Regional Outbreak Predictor
- I'm currently working on a web app that finds the perfect YouTube channels for you when you're eating solo here (minimal documentation, I will add more soon!): channels for when you're eating solo
When I'm not coding, I'm:
- learning to play a song I've recently been listening to on piano
- eating good asian food (jbbq, kbbq, sichuan, taiwanese...)
- watching the Canucks (times have been better)
