Summary

upgrade the React, TypeScript, Jest, ESLint, and Webpack stacks to current versions
migrate the repo onto the current ESLint flat-config path and fix the resulting TypeScript/React breakages
refresh the lockfile, align Node tooling on nvm v0.40.4 and Node 24.15.0, and clear transitive audit issues
