@vampire137 — youtube_via_relay config field already supported on Android in v1.9.0+ via config.json:
{
"youtube_via_relay": false
}
The Android app's UI form doesn't expose a toggle for it yet (queued for the v1.9.x Android UI batch — see #463), but the underlying support is already shipped. To set it on Android without UI exposure:
Either: edit Android config.json directly (requires root: /data/data/com.therealaleph.mhrv/files/config.json) and add the flag manually
Or wait for the Android UI batch (~2-3 weeks) which will expose this + other config-only flags as visual toggles
If you don't have root access on Android, the wait is the practical path. The desktop fix you mentioned would carry over once the UI flag exists.
This issue stays open as tracking-context for the Android UI batch (visible toggle for youtube_via_relay).

Is there a possibility for a separate android version with the config.json file already changed? So users can choose which version to use until the new UI changes arrive? Would be greatly appreciated if possible
The Android Advanced settings now has a Switch toggle for youtube_via_relay matching the desktop UI checkbox. No more hand-editing config.json on Android.
