🪪 Thiago de Albuquerque Dantas - Engineering Team Manager, M.Sc. Computer Engineering Student and problem solver
I'm an Engineering Team Manager and Frontend Tech Lead based in Recife, Brazil, with over a decade building web and mobile systems. Today I lead a frontend engineering team at Informata, where I'm responsible for technical direction, architecture decisions, code quality, and mentoring developers as we deliver web systems for our clients.
My core is frontend — I specialize in Angular (with PrimeNG, RxJS and the modern Angular ecosystem) and TypeScript, where roughly 80% of my hands-on work lives. The remaining stack rounds out a full delivery: backend with Node and sometimes Java, and cloud across Azure, AWS, GCP and OCI, plus CI/CD pipelines with Docker and Bitbucket and an Atlassian-based agile workflow.
Beyond delivery, I care a lot about growing people and sharing knowledge. I've taught game and application development at institutions such as Faculdade dos Guararapes, UNIBRATEC and Qualiti, lectured across Pernambuco and other states, and spent years as a columnist and event organizer in the tech and design community (Design Culture, IGDA). That teaching background shapes how I lead: clear standards, real mentorship, and bringing the team along.
My path runs through companies like Accenture, Sanar, Locus(Linx), KCS IT(Sowin) and Neadvance (the latter on a project in Portugal), with a foundation in computer science and a postgraduate specialization in project management. Outside of work, I'm passionate about music and ballroom dancing.
I'm always open to connecting around frontend architecture, engineering leadership, and building strong technical teams.
