fix(lancedb): capture span attributes for positionally-passed arguments - #4695
Problem
The LanceDB instrumentation reads request data only from kwargs. LanceDB documents table.add(data), table.search(query) and table.delete(where) as positional calls. With positional arguments the span loses its data attributes (e.g. tbl.add(rows) produced a span with only db.system/db.operation, missing db.milvus.insert.data_count).
Fix
Bind the call's args and kwargs to the wrapped method's signature (inspect.signature(...).bind_partial), flatten any **kwargs, and fall back to kwargs if binding fails, so behaviour never gets worse. Only the attribute-reading path changes; the wrapped call itself is untouched.
Tests
Added tests/test_positional_args.py (3 tests, real local LanceDB in a tmp dir, no network). They fail on main and pass with this change. Full LanceDB suite with the fix: 6 passed. ruff check passes. Note: tests/test_query.py::test_lancedb_delete fails on pristine main only with the newest lancedb; with the repo-pinned lancedb 0.26.1 it passes — pre-existing, unrelated to this PR.
Before / after (reproduction with a real local LanceDB, tbl.add(ROWS) where ROWS has 2 rows):
Before: span attributes {'db.system': 'lancedb', 'db.operation': 'add'} — no data count.
After: same span plus 'db.milvus.insert.data_count': 2, identical to the keyword call tbl.add(data=ROWS). (The db.milvus.* / db.chroma.* attribute names are pre-existing semantic-convention reuse in this package, unchanged here.)
Summary by CodeRabbit
Bug Fixes
LanceDB telemetry now records arguments supplied positionally for add, search, and delete operations, improving the details shown in their spans.
LanceDB instrumentation now resolves positional and keyword arguments before setting span attributes for add, search, and delete. Regression tests check the span attributes produced by positional calls.
Changes: LanceDB argument attributes

Summary
Resolve arguments for span attributes packages/opentelemetry-instrumentation-lancedb/opentelemetry/instrumentation/lancedb/utils.py, packages/opentelemetry-instrumentation-lancedb/opentelemetry/instrumentation/lancedb/wrapper.py, packages/opentelemetry-instrumentation-lancedb/tests/test_positional_args.py
get_call_arguments binds supplied arguments to parameter names and falls back to the original keyword arguments if inspection or binding fails. _wrap passes the resolved arguments to the add, search, and delete attribute setters. Tests check span attributes for positional calls.

Explanation
The title names the lancedb instrumentation fix: span attributes are now captured for arguments passed positionally. The raw summary confirms the change: utils.py adds get_call_arguments to bind positional and keyword arguments to the signature, and wrapper.py passes the resolved arguments to the add, search, and delete setters. Regression tests cover positional calls to add, search, and delete. The title is specific, follows the conventional commit style, and matches the main change.
